Terms of Service
Last updated · June 2026
These terms explain how Travia works as your hospitality partner — what we do, what you can expect, and the basis on which we arrange hotels, venues and events on your behalf.
About our service
Travia is a luxury hospitality consulting and booking-facilitation partner founded by Seema Taj. We are not an online hotel-booking portal. Instead, we act as your personal advisor — curating, negotiating and coordinating hotels, venues and events on your behalf with third-party properties and suppliers. By contacting us or using this website, you agree to these terms.
Enquiries are not confirmed bookings
An enquiry made through our website, WhatsApp, phone or email is a request for assistance — it does not, by itself, create a confirmed booking. Availability, rates, inclusions and timelines are only confirmed once we have checked with the relevant property and provided you with a written confirmation, and any required deposit or payment has been received.
Hotels, venues & third-party suppliers
The accommodation, venues, catering, transport and other services we arrange are ultimately provided by independent hotels, resorts and suppliers. Their own terms, policies and conditions — including check-in rules, cancellation and refund policies, and house rules — apply to your stay or event.
We use our experience and relationships to secure the best possible arrangements for you, but we do not own or operate these properties and cannot control their day-to-day service.
Quotes, rates & payments
Rates and packages we share are based on information available at the time and are subject to availability until confirmed. Quotes may be valid only for a limited period. Payment terms, deposits and schedules will be agreed with you for each engagement and may be payable to us or directly to the property, as specified.
Changes & cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a confirmed arrangement, please tell us as soon as possible. Changes and cancellations are subject to the policies of the hotels, venues and suppliers involved, and any applicable charges will be passed on to you. We will always do our best to assist and to find a workable solution.
Your responsibilities
To help us serve you well, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about your requirements, dates and guests.
- Respond and confirm in good time so we can hold availability and rates.
- Ensure that you and your guests comply with the policies of the properties and venues booked.
Limitation of liability
We provide our consulting and coordination services with care and professionalism. However, to the extent permitted by law, Travia is not liable for the acts, omissions, service standards or default of third-party hotels, venues or suppliers, nor for events beyond our reasonable control. Our role is to advise, arrange and coordinate on your behalf.
Intellectual property
The Travia name, logo, website content, text, imagery and design are the property of Travia by Seema and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
Communications
By contacting us, you consent to us responding through the channel you used — including WhatsApp, phone, email or SMS — in connection with your enquiry and any arrangements we make for you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with its revision date.
